Brief Characteristics of NMN

This is a liquid, consisting mainly of sodium bases of naphthenic acids, mixed with mineral oil and multifunctional additives.

NMN is easily soluble in water, possesses detergent properties, good washing action, a good emulsifier, resistant to hard water.

Reacting with electrolytes and formation water it produces waterproof barrier consisting of flakes of calcium and magnesium bases. The reaction is very quick, almost prompt with fluids contact (without additives). To resist water pressure formation, the barrier would have biggest possible diameter in horizontal plane and possess some durability and resistance. The diameter of isolating barrier is controlled by quantity of injected product, and resistance-by special additives.

Besides strengthening gel , special additives contribute to easy penetration of product into formation and we may control with them the speed of reaction and the time of duration of the barrier.

As per the Laboratory Control of Bashkortostan Republic ( Russian Federation ) conclusion for toxics in NMN, the number of volatile organic-chlorine compounds of product is at the level of traces. The product NMN is certified and approved for use in the oil and gas industry of Russian Federation.
