Leveling of Injection Rate Profile of Injection Wells

Goal: To equalize the injection rate on the height of reservoir in the case of anisotropy of horizontal permeability in vertical direction by leveling it artificially. It is necessary to smooth the water-oil interface improve the flooding.

Achieved: By injecting NMN and electrolyte in the reservoir. Components form gel in intervals with higher permeability; thus leveling the injection rate on the height of reservoir.
This method is applied while work-over operations in injection wells to improve the flooding.
